Otri reviews relations with Russian team

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Otri stressed yesterday the solid ties of cooperation between the Syrian and the Russian people. In a meeting that gathered the two chairmen of the Syrian-Russian businessmen council, the Premier indicated the necessity to develop the business relations and to broaden their horizons in the economic, commercial and the industrial fields.

Present at the meeting were members of the commerce Trade and Industry Chambers as well as the Russian ambassador to Damascus.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Mohammad al-Hussein met with members the Arab-Russian Businessmen Council headed by Mr. Pumpianskiy Dmitriy, who is currently visiting Syria. The two sides discussed cooperation between Syrian businessmen in the economic, finance and banking domains.

The Minister stressed the necessity to develop cooperation to serve the joint interests and standing relations between Syria and Russia.

Tartous Chamber of Commerce’s chairman also attended the meeting.
