Russian-Lebanese Business Committee Meets for the 4th time

The Lebanese-Russian Business Committee held its fourth joint meeting on Friday, June 23, 2006. During the meeting the parties discussed the Russian-Lebanese cooperation in the banking sector. Special attention was given to the possibility of setting up a direct cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture. During its journey to Lebanon the Russian delegation visited Zahlah city in the Beqaa Valley and held negotiations there concerning supplying the Lebanese agricultural product to Russian markets.
